differenza di classe

Being stuck @ the airport for a whole day is no fun. Having Standby for the busiest flight in the SLC airport is even less fun. There was another man waiting who was in line after us in the wait list for cleared seating. His name was Pat(he had been waiting for two whole days to get that flight). He was a young guy just trying to get to Detroit. You see My mom and I had already missed one plane to Detroit and if we missed the next one we would miss the only flight out of the US to Rome. As I sat there praying like a mad women (I was about to get down on my knees in the middle of the airport and start chanting like I was in Mecca), they called my name. I looked at my mom in horror. There was only one seat left. Would she dare let me travel to Rome... alone??! My mom instantly turned to Pat and said, "You've been waiting here longer. You take it." He asked if she was sure and she nodded, "Positive." I watched him walk onto the plan then turned and looked at my mom. We both burst into tears for three minutes and then... Mommy turned into Supermom! She got us the next plane to Paris on a buddy ticket and a train ticket from Paris to Florence. When we boarded the plane to Paris, to our amazement, we were flying FIRST CLASS. This wasn't the extra feet space and softer chairs, It was a free 3 course meal with dessert and breakfast, a whole line up of newly released movies and CD's, MY CHAIR>>> could reverse into full bed!!!!!!! Yeah lets just say... Karma sucks ;)
